Developmental Editing This is my most substantial service, which I provide either before or after a manuscript is completed. I will take a big picture look at your manuscript, reviewing the overall structure, plot, character development, pacing, and tone to identify areas for improvement and provide honest, kind, and direct feedback in order to help strengthen the core elements of your story
Line Editing This service can be completed on a finished draft, where I will closely review your manuscript sentence by sentence and make suggestions on pace, word choice, and sentence structure. In a line edit I will be focusing on readability, rather than looking for basic errors.
Copy Editing For a copy edit service, I will help you improve your completed manuscript by checking for grammatical errors, punctuation and spelling mistakes. I will also look for any inconsistencies in style and tone.
Proofreading Are you just about ready to send your manuscript off for publication? Let me take a final look at it beforehand. With this service I will meticulously review your work for basic errors in spelling, grammar, and style. This is perfect for those who have had some editing done but just want one more set of eyes on their work before it is released into the world.
